Courier Times (Bucks County) News paper article from September 4th 2007 :
"....Despite
the court order, the department may never see the money. An investigator
couldn't find any assets belonging to the company, and Murphy said it appeared a
contact at the dog-training company may have been using a fake name.
David Kiewel, apparently,
“doesn't even exist as a person,” according to Murphy...."

In the past, Kiewel Working
Dogs , David Kiewel and Josh Kiewel (KWD Protection Dogs,
executive protection dogs) did purchased domain names
associated strictly with my trademark names
- "Ot Vitosha".
For a short time they used my trademark names
to redirect to their own website. Then the same domain
names were used to redirect to various websites ( some quite inappropriate)
Those Web sites were eventually taken
down, but the domain names remain in their possession.
If you are dealing with KWD Protection Dogs
( same people), you are not dealing with Ivan Balabanov, Ot Vitosha Kennels.
David Kiewel is Not certified
or trained by Ivan Balabanov!
A basic search on
Google
using “David Kiewel ” reveals some very interesting accounts. For example,
follow this link:
Authorities Suing Nebraska Dog Supplier
and make sure you see the CBS video (above) in
better quality
or:
http://www.leidenschaftkennels.ca/beware.htm
or:
their
business in Germany here
or see this one - Leerburg Discussion forum - Kiewel scam
or on the Working Giant Schnauzer discussion forum
Here are only few e-mails I have received from REAL people, who have had
dealings with KWD and unfortunately read the warnings that are all over the
internet too late :

hello. ivan
my name is corrie Robbins, i bought a dog from
kiewel in august 2006
....great dog ...not what i asked for and paid for. i did
lots of research
on protection dogs on line and in my province by word of
mouth ...they
seemed to have what i needed.... or so i thought... my dog
is healthy but no
real protection commands ......At best he is a well
trained house dog...i
tried to contact kiewl several times with no response
after 6 months ...now
after researching on the net i find my self feeling very
ripped off...there
was nothing posted on the net about the kiewel kennels
before nov.6 ....when
i was researching in july 2006 there was nothing ...now
after nov. there are
articles about these brothers.....how was I to know????
i am in canada in
toronto and i love my dog what am i to do ...because
before Nov.2006 it
seems no one thought that kiewel was a fraud ...and now i
see this is a
fraud ...what am i to do.....the whole reason for paying
13000 was because i
needed protection from a crazy man ...my dog was to be the
one always with
me never needing a phone call no court ordered paper work
that doesn't do
shit ....my new best friend for life that would kill for
me and at the same
time be a pet... i got ripped off, I'm sure ...but my dog
has papers and
still protects when i'm walking him and when he is at home
sometimes?. not
what was paid for. i really needed this dog because of
this situation...I am
a girl with a crazy x who won't let me go very abusive and
very
unpredictable and my dog is not even close to being
a threat ...now at he
same time ...i think he would protect naturally but i am
very
skeptical....he hides when anyone yells in the house????so
after 13000 us .
what do you think i should do????

Dear Ivan,
Just wanted to let you know that I too am having trouble
with the Kiewels.
I have been in contact with an attorney to determine what
my next steps will be.
Happy to talk with you, but at this time won't include
anymore information in writing.
I am planning to file suit.

Hello,
I was given your email address by Tammy of Leidenschaft
Kennels. She told me that you might have an interesting story to tell regarding
dealings with the Kiewel's. I intend to put a link on my website to expose them
and their dishonest business practices and link it to Tammy's...people need to
know about them before they give them their money. We bought a dog to do work
(for therapy work in a Children's hospital and nursing homes and for search and
rescue (this is all work done free of charge)...we had to scrape to get the
money to buy her...even used fund raiser money. Now we're stuck with a dog that
may be a danger that we were not trained to deal with and is nothing that she
was supposed to be and does not even have the correct paperwork to get her
registered.
I hope you'll respond and get a hold of me. I believe
there is strength in numbers and if they know that people are networking and not
going to just sit by and let this happen maybe we can stop them.
Respectfully,
Mary Beth DeBrodie
